Following the issuance by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority of a permit to commence operations within the meaning of Article 36, Section 1 of the Banking Law, Millennium Bank Hipoteczny Spółka Akcyjna commenced operations on June 14, 2021.

Millennium Bank Hipoteczny S.A. is part of the Bank Millennium S.A. Capital Group. Its primary goal is to obtain long-term financing through the issuance of covered bonds, the basis of which are receivables from mortgage loans transferred from Bank Millennium S.A.

Covered bonds are among the safest financial instruments in the world. The transfer of receivables allows for the financing of mortgage loans with long-term covered bonds, gradually eliminating the maturity mismatch between assets and liabilities.

Millennium Bank Hipoteczny Spółka Akcyjna, headquartered in Warsaw, ul. Stanisława Żaryna 2A, 02-593 Warsaw, entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register under KRS number 0000852039, maintained by the District Court for the capital city of Warsaw, XIII Commercial Division of the National Court Register, with the Tax Identification Number (NIP) 521-390-45-67 and the fully paid-up share capital of PLN 163,000,000.00.
